Orchestral Music Melts My Heart

I wanted to comment on all the pieces played at the Cal Poly Wind Orchestra & Ensemble last night, but I lost my program. O Magnum Mysterium was beautiful, and all the other ones they played were wonderful too, and more fast-paced. One had amazing percussion instruments, including a cup attached to a string or something and a hammer and a screwdriver, if my eyes served me well. There is something so pure and beautiful about a concert. Sigh. I am glad Sara likes things like these also.

I saw Bride and Prejudice and The Girl With the Pearl Earring. Both good, but not fabulous, movies. Joanne, Michelle, Ashley, and I went to IHOP for breakfast. I hadn't done anything with them for ages and it was good to see them again.
